That is not my WinCoSIm branch? As the _compat.py source the test is showing is not the correct one -> it drops the slashes …

Thanks for documenting the development process, that really helps for a Windows-agnostic like me. I will merge in the PR, I assume this also passes on older Window versions?

Perhaps @cfelton has run the Python 3.5 tests on a Win7 machine? One of these days I will start/continue a project on a Win7 - Python 3.5. I will run the MyHDL test suite first :slight_smile:
